Coconut
Coconut is the fruit of the Coconut Palm tree (Cocus nucifera). Coconuts are known for their versatility of uses, ranging from food to cosmetics. The inner flesh of the mature seed forms a regular part of diets in the tropics and subtropics, and it is rich in oil. Coconuts are unique because their endosperm contains a large quantity of clear liquid, called "coconut water". When green, they may be harvested exclusively for their water.
