Mechanisms of Action on Proteins

ORMADRY CLC forms a network of polysaccharides around the hair shaft, binding to keratin through ionic and acid-base saline bonds across a wide pH range:

Ionic bonds between positively charged sites on proteins and anionic sites of sulfated polysaccharides.
Salt bridges formed between polyuronic acids and divalent ions (calcium/magnesium) naturally present in algae.
Hydroxyl groups attract water to the capillary surface by hydrogen bonding, creating a protective hydration film.
